Credit Card Processing.

December 2011: SouthWare addresses credit card fraud with a new credit card interface and partnership with Element Payment Services.

With the new strict standards for handling and securely saving credit card information, the selection of a Hosted Payment solution by SouthWare takes much of the burden off the individual company.  Simply put, Hosted Payments accepts the card data in a secure web window, encrypts the information and stores it at a PCI Level 1 secure facility. 

No card information is stored at the client site. 

To access the credit card information, a token is returned to the SouthWare system that points to a particular credit card record.  This token can be used to access the stored card data for future use, without ever seeing or obtaining the full card information from the site.
